Splash Sculpture
“Splash” is a large-scale, stainless-steel piece that is truly experiential. It changes from day to night, reflecting the people and objects around it. It celebrates the community’s history while simultaneously embracing the exciting future of the district. “Splash” was created by contemporary artist Michael Benisty to symbolize the impact of a significant event or emotion, representing a theme of change, renewal, and the power of nature. The 6,000-pound plaza statue, crafted from mirror-polished stainless steel, serves as a metaphor for bold beginnings and the ripples that follow, affecting everything around it. “Splash” honors historic roots while embracing the future with fearless energy. The towering 18-foot-tall sculpture uses water as its primary element, with an added human face to connect both the human realm and the nature it lives in.
Sky Bridges
As dusk settles over the city, a quiet transformation begins at Splash with a dynamic visual symphony springing from above. The twin wings of the building are connected by sky bridges that come alive with a mesmerizing display of light and motion. This is the magic of our sky bridge lights, a dynamic art installation that turns the ordinary into the extraordinary. This integrated artwork brings the sky bridges to life using programmable LED lights embedded in the handrails. Every evening, from dusk until midnight, the bridge becomes a canvas of shifting colors and patterns, with delicate sparks of transition. More than just a design feature, the illuminated sky bridges add a sense of wonder to the neighborhood. Whether viewed from afar or up close, the lights create a rhythmic energy that reflects the pulse of the city. It’s not just illumination— it’s an ever-changing performance in the sky, a beacon of light bringing people together after sundown.

Winding through a 1,300-square-foot hallway, a vibrant, funky, and unmistakably PNW-inspired mural comes to life, wrapping residents and visitors in a visual journey through Oregon’s natural beauty. This woodblock-inspired bloom artwork celebrates the essence of the Pacific Northwest with bold colors, organic textures, and an imaginative nod to the region’s iconic landscapes. From delicate raindrops to lush foliage, soaring geese, and intricate patterns that echo Oregon’s woodblock artistry. Every inch of the mural tells a story: A love letter to the state’s wild spirit and ever-changing seasons. More than just a painting, this piece immerses you in the rhythm of Oregon itself, blending nature and artistry in a way that feels both playful and deeply rooted in place. Twinkle Tree
Visible from Sandy Boulevard, where city lights shimmer, and the skyline stretches, a tree unlike any other stands aglow. Perched atop our 8th-floor outdoor deck at Splash, the Twinkle Tree breaks through the night sky. It’s a luminous landmark, a gathering place, and a symbol of creativity woven into the city’s fabric. This mesmerizing LED tree pulses with light, shifting in color and intensity as if breathing with the rhythm of the city. Commanding attention, its radiant branches reach skyward, casting a soft, ethereal glow. More than just a visual spectacle, Twinkle Tree embodies the spirit of Splash— bold, imaginative, and rooted in artistry. It invites passersby to pause, take in its magic, and reflect on the beauty of light, nature, and urban energy intertwined.
